About the Job

As a Insurance Manager, you will…

  • Manage a team of insurance product managers
  • Bring a financial view to build new products and assist in the delivery and implementation
  • integrate a young, multicultural and fast-growing insurance company of 100 people


Your responsabilities:

  • Manage a team of Insurance Product Managers (2 people currently for Spain and France – Home and Smartphone products)
  • Coordinate projects with internal and external contacts and ensure compliance with the roadmap of your products
  • Ensure a regular market watch to detect new opportunities on each acquisition channel (direct, comparison sites, B2B2C partnerships)
  • Analyse the segmentation of customer portfolios, and propose to insurers smart ideas for beneficial adjustments for all (on guarantees, pricing factors, etc.)
  • Propose innovations to differentiate our products while respecting Lovys’ values
  • Organize steering and renewal committees with all our insurers (5 as of today))
  • Support the marketing/partnership department in the business
  • Accompany the operations department (Customer Service Team) in the technical understanding (insurance rules and tariffs) of the products for which you are responsible
  • Support the Tech department (especially the Product Owners) in the creation and optimization of customer journeys, both on the Underwriting side and the Claims side, and any other subject related to your products (Epics on Azure DevOps…)

Strong problem-solving is a must, as well as an ability to work to deadlines. You excel at working with different types of people in different teams, managing expectations, and bringing people around to your point of view.
You are a critical thinker, constantly questioning the status quo. You are detail-oriented and somebody who prides themselves on never shying away from offering their opinion. No matter the title or position of your external interlocuters, you back yourself to negotiate well and give a good account of Lovys.
In this role, you will be making it possible that Lovys’ all-in-one insurance platform delights our customers everyday, by reimagining insurance and keeping our partners onboard.

Your profile:

  • Fluency in French and English is a must
  • You are organized
  • You like to play with Excel and your analytical skills allow you to be concise and convincing
  • You like to share your ideas freely and appreciate small structures where you are given a lot of autonomy
  • You have a demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • You have a degree in engineering, mathematics, or business related
  • 5 years of experience, ideally in insurance brokerage, property and casualty insurance


Nice to have:

  • Experience in a fast-paced business environment
  • Knowledge of Spanish is a plus

Ghislain has a vast experience (nearly 20 years) in actuarial, insurance and brokerage.

What you can expect

  • The position is based in Paris center
  • Some travel in Europe, including Porto, Lisbon and Madrid.
  • Hybrid policy: we encourage people to get together at the office.
