Hydrogen is a decarbonized energy vector that is expected to play a significant role in the energy transition for achieving carbon neutrality. In 2020, Bureau Veritas launched the hydrogen initiativeto enhance and monitor its involvement and development into the new hydrogen industry.
In Q4 2022, Bureau Veritas set its 2025 ambition to be the global reference on hydrogen technical and regulatory services, to bring support on safety, transparency, sustainability, regulatory compliance and provide quality assurance to the hydrogen value chain players. To that end, Bureau Veritas is developing new servicesto address the specific needs of the hydrogen industry while building technical capabilitiesall over the world in the 140 countries where it operates.
ROLE OF THE INTERNATIONAL HYDROGEN MARKET OFFICER
Within the Power & Utility Global Service Line, the International Hydrogen Market Officerholds a comprehensive role, reporting to and working closely with the Hydrogen Global Sales Director.
Its main accountability will be to contribute to the hydrogen strategy implementation through:
- Contribution to the hydrogen strategy implementation:
- Contribution to the creation of new services (certification, traceability of hydrogen…)
- Market watch and analysis (study digest, business news watch, players ID cards)
- Energy and hydrogen related regulation screening (Europe, US, UK, Japan, China …)
- Participation to conferences and external working groups
- Contribution to achieving sales target:
- Sales support to operating entities
- References registry creation and update
- Marketing presentation to clients
- CRM analytics
Top business school and/or engineering school student (Bachelor degree) with a strong appetite for business strategy and marketing combined with general scientific skills.
Understanding of global markets, emerging technologies and associated industry requirements.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
English speaking as first or second language. French speaking would be a plus.
Soft skills: openness, autonomy, self-determination, stamina, resilience.
