We are looking for a Sustainability & Responsibility (S&R) & Public Affairs Manager for Havana Club International (HCI)! You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.
Under the responsibility of the Director for Public Affairs, Communications and S&R, you will be responsible for implementing and managing a strong Sustainability & Responsibility Policy. You will be in charge of coordinating, developing and deploying the HCI’s sustainability projects at an internal and external level.
Your key missions:
Execution of the S&R strategy
  • You will gather S&R-related story, milestones, and achievements from across the business globally
  • You will ensure compliance with Group S&R guidelines
  • You will leverage HCI’s related-story and ongoing projects including Cuban ones
  • You will amplify HCI’s S&R action plan both internally (Group level) and externally making sure information circulates to the team based in Cuba (and vice versa)
  • You will contribute to the development and execution of the strategy for HCI’s areas of engagement in CSR
  • You will closely work with key internal stakeholders within PR HQ and with HR, Operations and Investment and QSE directors to ensure consistency and creditability of the strategy
  • You will constantly liaise with Cuban team to ensure consistency of the strategy
  • You will support roll-out of consumer information project (QR code/e-label)
Support the roll-out of Public Affairs strategy
  • You will contribute to deployment of the public affairs strategy for Havana Club in a very challenging environment (US embargo)
  • You will support HCI Legal team with onboarding newcomers raise awareness of operational teams and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders, on embargo related issues
  • You will monitor the EU’s position towards Cuba, monitoring and influencing the EU’s stance on extra-territoriality
  • You will monitor USA’s position towards Cuba and the evolution of Cuban embargo laws and regulations
  • You will be a Key Point of Contact for markets’ Public Affairs hot topics
Business travels to be expected: about 20 %

  • You have a Master’s degree and previous experience in CSR strategy deployment
  • You are fluent in both English and Spanish (intermediate level of French is a plus)
  • You have the ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • You build strong consumer relationships and deliver consumer-centric solutions
  • You are able to drive vision and purpose and motivate your stakeholders to take action
  • You are able to multitask and feel comfortable working in a multi-lingual/cultural environment
